A 1770 Registered Brick Colonial with wide plank floors and a wood shake roof sits on five majestic acres in a stand of 200-year-old Black Locust Trees. Large comfortable bedrooms, fully air-conditioned, open onto wide halls

Behind the old house is our air-conditioned Grand Room with cathedral windows on three sides opening onto a bluestone patio where many leisurely breakfasts have been served.

The air-conditioned Grand Room with its library balcony (books, magazines, TV, videos, CD/Cassettes) has "cradled" many of our guests in all four seasons. Here, one can relax, curl up with a good book, listen/play on our antique Bechstein Grand Piano, or visit with fellow guests.

Under the balcony, around the fireplace, a full gourmet breakfast is served. A guest recently wrote… "Our breakfasts were exceptional. I awaited 9 a.m. each morning with the anticipation of a child at holiday time…" At breakfast, delicious baked muffins, special french toast, soufflés. fresh seasonal fruits, locally cured ham and bacon, are a sampling of what you will experience at the hands of Chef/owner Howard Mont, trained at the New York Restaurant School.

Some of the rooms with original fireplaces, lit by candlelight, add a soft and warm glow to the colors and textures including this, our suite. This beautiful room with sitting area and spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower, will make your romantic getaway special.
